Ported EGR Valve
This valve is operated by a vacuum signal from the carburetor EGR port which actuates the valve diaphragm. As vacuum increases enough to overcome the power spring, the valve is opened, allowing EGR flow. Amount of flow is dependent on the pintle or poppet position which is a direct result of the vacuum signal.
