EGR Control Solenoid

  1. Using ohmmeter, check resistance of EGR control solenoid windings. Resistance should be 68-78 ohms. If reading is not correct, replace EGR control solenoid.
  2. Apply battery voltage to EGR control solenoid and ensure that air will flow through valve. If air does not flow through valve, replace EGR control solenoid.
