Description & Operation: THERMOVALVE
The thermovalve is located at end of EGR vacuum supply line and is sensitive to engine temperature. The thermovalve bleeds off the vacuum signal to the EGR valve during engine warm-up when less NOx is emitted and to improve cold engine driveability. See Fig 1 .
