Servo - Speed Control: Installation

  1. Position servo (2) to mounting bracket.
  2. Align hole in cable connector with hole in servo pin. Install cable-to-servo retaining clip (3).
  3. Insert servo mounting studs through holes in servo mounting bracket.
  4. Install two servo-to-mounting bracket nuts (1) and tighten to 7 N.m (60 in. lbs.).

  5. Position servo assembly (6) to inner fender and install three screws (3). Tighten 3 screws to 4 N.m (30 in. lbs.).
  6. Connect vacuum line (1) to servo.
  7. Connect electrical connector (5) to servo.
  8. Connect servo cable (2) to throttle body. (Refer to INSTALLATION ).
  9. Install air filter housing assembly.
  10. Connect negative battery cable to battery.
  11. Before starting engine, operate accelerator pedal to check for any binding.
