Window Motor (Front): Removal

  1. Remove front door trim panel. See DOOR TRIM PANEL  .
  2. Remove water deflector.
  3. Disconnect window from window regulator carrier plate. See Figure .
  4. Position window in full up position and tape it to window frame.
  5. Disconnect harness connector from window regulator motor.
  6. Loosen bolts on window regulator motor.
  7. Loosen bolts on window regulator rail.
  8. Remove front window regulator, lifting up and out from key slots on door inner panel and through rear access hole.
