STOPLAMP Switch: Removal

Remove the left side instrument panel insulator. See INSULATOR PANEL (LEFT SIDE) . Disconnect the electrical connectors. Remove the stoplamp switch (1) from the brake pedal bracket by turning the switch counterclockwise approximately 1/4 turn, and pulling back. See Figure.
