Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the bezel. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement .
  2. Remove the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement .
  3. Remove the instrument panel trim panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Trim Panel Replacement .
  4. Remove the front floor trim plate. Refer to Front Floor Console Trim Plate Replacement .
  5. Remove the front floor console cover. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement .

  6. Disconnect the park lock cable from the shift lock lever.

  7. Disconnect the park lock cable from the shift lever plate.

  8. Disconnect the cable clamp.

  9. Turn the ignition switch to the ACC or Run position.
  10. Using a screwdriver, disconnect the cable from the upper bracket.
  11. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
