Oxygen Sensor

Oxygen sensor is mounted on center exhaust pipe. It is used to sense oxygen concentration in exhaust gas. Oxygen sensor generates voltage if there is a difference in oxygen concentration between inside and outside of tube.

By sending this information to MPFI control unit, air/fuel ratio of supplied mixture can be determined. Characteristics of voltage stabilize at temperatures of approximately 572-752°F (300-400°C).
