Brushes & Springs
- Check brush length. If more than 1/3 worn, replace brushes. Standard brush length is .59" (15 mm) for Nippondenso starter. Specification for Mitsubishi starter is not available.
- Check condition of brush holders, springs, spring clip and insulation between positive and negative holders and repair or replace as needed.
