Enter Identification Mode

  1. Open the driver's door and leave it open.
    NOTE: Check if the battery cable is connected.
  2. Turn the ignition switch from ON to LOCK two times. (LOCK --> ON --> LOCK --> ON --> LOCK)
  3. The indicator light will start blinking.
    INDICATOR LIGHT BLINKING

    Number of times blinked Vehicle state
    1 time Any door, rear gate or trunk lid has been opened.
    3 times The impact sensor in the system's unit has been activated. This may indicate that your vehicle has been shocked or tampered with by some outside force and/or unauthorized person.
    4 times The ignition switch has been turned ON, or the battery has been disconnected.
  4. Close the door and turn the ignition switch to ON in order to disarm the identification mode.
