LH Side

  1. Install the ignition coil.
    CAUTION: Degrease the mounting bolts, rocker cover installation portion and ignition coil installation hole.

    Tightening torque: 

    8 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.9 ft-lb)

  2. Connect the connector to the ignition coil.
  3. Attach the bracket.

    Tightening torque: 

    7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

  4. Secure the engine wiring harness to the bracket with claw (A), and secure the battery cable assembly with claw (B).

  5. Install the engine wiring harness to the clip (A), and connect the connector (B) and terminal (C).

    Tightening torque: 

    7.5 N.m (0.8 kgf-m, 5.5 ft-lb)

  6. Connect the connector (D) and connector (E) in numerical order shown in figure.

  7. Install the battery. Ref. to STARTING/CHARGING SYSTEMS (H4DOTC)>Battery>INSTALLATION .
