Fuel Cut System

The fuel cut solenoid valve receives a signal from the ECM if the ignition is turned off. During deceleration, a signal is also received when the temperature is normal, the clutch is not depressed, primary throttle valve is closed and engine speed exceeds 2500 RPM. If all of these conditions exist during deceleration, the fuel cut system stops fuel flow to the carburetor slow system.
