Bi-Metallic Vacuum Solenoid Valve (BVSV)
Disconnect vacuum hoses connected to BVSV. Connect test hose to upper hose connector. With engine temperature below 127°F (53°C), blow into test hose. Air should not escape from lower hose connector pipe. Warm engine to 149°F (65°C). Blow into test hose again, ensure that air escapes from lower hose connector.
