Air Valve: SOHC

Remove throttle body. See THROTTLE BODY in N - REMOVE/INSTALL/OHAUL article in the ENGINE PERFORMANCE Section. Immerse air valve portion of throttle body in water. Ensure air valve closes gradually as water temperature rises. Air valve should be fully closed at approximately 176°F (80°C).
