Fuel Cut Deceleration System
- Connect tachometer to engine. Start and warm engine to normal operating temperature.
- Disconnect wiring connector from throttle position sensor. Using a jumper wire, short-circuit terminals TL and IDL on wiring connector.
- Slowly raise engine speed and watch tachometer. Tachometer fluctuation on Vans should be between 2200 RPM-1800 RPM. If not check throttle position sensor and ECU.
