Pick-Up Coil Air Gap Check

  1. Using a flat, non-magnetic feeler gauge, check air gap between signal rotor and pick-up coil projection.
  2. Air gap should be .008-.016" (.20-.40 MM). If air gap is not within specification, replace distributor.
