Driver's Window Motor Test

Remove door trim panel. Unplug 4-P connector from power window control unit. Test power window motor operation by using fused jumper wire and connecting battery voltage to Blue/Red and Blue/White terminals. See Fig 1 . Test motor in each direction by transposing jumper wires. Motor should run both directions. Replace motor if it does not run smoothly in both directions.
