2-Way Valve

  1. Remove fuel filler cap. Remove vapor hose from fuel tank side of valve. Connect hand-held vacuum/pressure pump with gauge (integral or installed with "T" fitting) to valve. Slowly draw vacuum while observing gauge.
  2. Vacuum should stabilize momentarily at specification as 2-way valve opens. Reverse pump and gauge connections. Slowly pressurize vapor hose. Pressure should momentarily stabilize at specification as 2-way valve opens.
  3. If valve does not respond as outlined, check hoses and connections for leaks. If hoses and connections are okay, replace valve.
