Relay Test

Using a DVOM, check for continuity between relay terminals No. 3 and No. 4. See Fig 1 . There should be no continuity. Apply battery voltage across terminals No. 1 and 2. Continuity should exists between terminals No. 3 and No. 4. If relay fails any of these tests, replace relay.
