Front Wiper Motor Test

  1. Remove wiper arms. To access wiper motor connector, remove lower windshield molding, hood seal and air scoop. Disconnect wiper motor 5-pin connector.
  2. To test low-speed operation, connect battery voltage to Green/Black wire. Connect Blue wire to ground. Motor should run smoothly. If motor does not run smoothly, replace wiper motor.
  3. To test high-speed operation, connect battery voltage to Green/Black wire. Connect Blue/Yellow wire to ground. Motor should run smoothly. If motor does not run smoothly, replace wiper motor.
