Current to the fuel injectors is stopped when engine speed exceeds 8100 RPM on 1.7L, 7000 RPM on 1.8L, 7100 RPM on 2.5L and 6500 RPM on 3.2L. During deceleration with the throttle valve closed, current to the fuel injectors is stopped. When engine speed exceeds approximately 1000 RPM, current to the fuel injectors is restored.
