Front Wiper Motor Test

  1. Remove wiper arms. To gain access to wiper motor connector, remove lower windshield molding, hood seal, and air scoop. Unplug wiper motor 5-pin connector.
  2. To test low speed operation, connect battery voltage to Green/Black wire. Connect Blue wire to ground. Motor should run smoothly at low speed. If motor does not run smoothly, replace wiper motor.
  3. To test high speed operation, connect battery voltage to Green/Black wire. Connect Blue/Yellow wire to ground. Motor should run smoothly at high speed. If motor does not run smoothly, replace wiper motor.
