Anti-Lock Brake System: Description

The Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) is designed to prevent wheel lock-up during hard braking. This effect allows driver to maintain control of vehicle under severe braking conditions. System consists of ABS control unit, accumulator, pressure switch, pump assembly, wheel sensors, gear pulsers, modulator, warning light, master cylinder, power booster assembly, motor and fail-safe relays and connecting wiring.
