Variation Test

Attach a tachometer to engine. Start engine and compare vehicle tachometer with test tachometer. Vehicle tachometer performance is acceptable if unit is within allowable range. See the TACHOMETER VARIATION SPECIFICATIONS  table. If tachometer performance is not within specifications, replace tachometer.
