Charging System Light

  1. Turn ignition on. Charging system light should turn on. If charging system light does not turn on, disconnect generator wiring harness connector. Using a fused jumper wire, ground terminal "L" (White/Green wire) on wiring harness side of connector. See Fig 1 .
  2. If charging system light turns on, perform IC regulator test. See IC REGULATOR  under BENCH TESTING. If charging system light does not turn on, check charging system light bulb and replace as necessary. If bulb is okay, repair open in White/Green wire.
