Brake Fluid Level Switch Test

Remove reservoir cap (cap and switch are one assembly). Ensure float on cap moves up and down freely. Use DVOM and check for continuity between switch terminals. With float in down position (empty), continuity should be indicated. Turn cap upside down to move float to up (full) position. In up position, continuity should not exist. If continuity is not as specified, replace reservoir cap.
