Charging System Light

  1. Turn ignition on. Charging system light should turn on. If charging system light does not turn on, disconnect generator wiring harness connector. Using a fused jumper wire, ground terminal "L" (White/Green wire) on wiring harness side of connector. See Fig 1.
  2. If charging system light turns on, perform IC regulator test. See IC REGULATOR under BENCH TESTING . If charging system light does not turn on, check charging system light bulb and replace as necessary. If bulb is okay, repair open in White/Green wire.
