System Tests: 3.2TL: Defogger
- Connect a jumper wire between 10-pin connector terminals No. 3 (Yellow/Black wire) and terminal No. 6 (Orange/White wire). Turn ignition switch to ON position. Using DVOM, check voltage between terminal No. 3 (Yellow/Black wire) and ground. If battery voltage exists and both mirrors heat up, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist and neither mirror heats up, repair open in Yellow/Black or Orange/White wire, blown No. 4 (7.5-amp) fuse located in driver's underdash fuse/relay box and/or poor ground. - Check power mirror/defogger switch. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH TEST under COMPONENT TESTS. If battery voltage exists and only one mirror heats up, replace affected mirror defogger.
