Service Check Signal (SCS) Circuit Method

NOTE:
To ensure accuracy, the vehicle must be level.
- Clear the DTC. Short the Service Check Signal circuit. See SERVICE CHECK SIGNAL (SCS) CIRCUIT METHOD under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING. Release the parking brake. Press the brake pedal and hold it.
- Turn the ignition switch ON. After the ABS indicator goes off, apply the parking brake, release the parking brake, and apply it again.
- The VSA activation indicator blinks twice in 2 seconds, and the indicator goes off. If the indicator does not go off, repeat from the first step.
- Turn the ignition switch OFF, then remove the Honda PGM Tester from the data link connector.
