VSA Modulator-Control Unit: Installation

1. Install VSA modulator/control unit to bracket. Install and tighten mounting nuts. Align and insert 42-pin connector into VSA modulator/control unit plug-in. Push locking lever down until a click is heard. Connect 3-pin pressure sensor connector. Install and tighten 6 brake lines to specifications. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Go to next step.
2. Bleed precharge brake line. See Figure . Bleed hydraulic brake system. See HYDRAULIC SYSTEM BLEEDING  under BLEEDING BRAKE SYSTEM. Start engine and ensure that ABS indicator goes off. Test drive vehicle and confirm that ABS system is functioning properly.
