Resetting the Power Window Control Unit: Notes

Resetting the power windows are required when any of the following have occurred:

• Power window regulator replacement or repair
• Power window motor replacement or repair
• Window run channel replacement or repair power
  • Driver's MPCS unit replacement or repair
  • Front passenger's MPCS unit replacement or repair
  • Rear power window switch replacement
• Door glass replacement or repair
• Power is removed from a power window control unit while the window timer is ON.
