Ignition Coil And Spark Plug Removal/Installation: Front
- Remove the engine compartment covers (see
ENGINE COMPARTMENT COVER REPLACEMENT
)
- Remove the harness clamp (A) and the bolt (B), then remove the harness holder (C) from the bracket

- Disconnect the ignition coil connectors (D), then remove the front ignition coils (E)
- Remove the spark plugs (F) and inspect them (see Spark Plug Inspection ).
- Apply a small amount of anti-seize compound to the plug threads, and screw the plugs into the cylinder head, finger tight. Torque them to 22 Nm (2.2 kgf.m, 16 lb.ft).
- Install the front ignition coils in the reverse order of removal
