Select/Reset/Information Switch Test/Replacement
NOTE:

) before doing repairs or servicing.
- Remove the steering wheel (see STEERING WHEEL REMOVAL ).
- Remove the paddle shifter (+) (upshift switch) (see PADDLE SHIFTER REPLACEMENT ).
- Disconnect the 12P connector (A) from the select/reset/information switch (B).
- Remove the screws (C), then pull out the center trim (D) from the steering wheel.
- Remove the screw (E), then pull the select/reset/information switch from the steering wheel.
- Measure the resistance between select/reset/information switch 12P connector terminals No. 4 and No. 11 in each switch position according to the table.

Position Resistance ↑ About 1, 043 Ω SEL/RESET About 33 Ω ↓ About 363 Ω - If the resistance is not as specified, replace the switch.
- If the switch is OK, but there is a problem with the switch function, check the cable reel subharness and cable reel.
