Position Sensor Clearance Check

  1. Using a plastic feeler gauge, check clearance between flywheel and magnetic position sensor. See Figure.
  2. Clearance should be .02-.06" (.5-1.5 mm). If so, proceed to next check. If not, replace sensor.
