Power Windows: Description
Window motors are of a 2-wire design, using polarity of circuit to change motor rotation. On Eagle models, windows are controlled by an individual switch mounted in each door trim panel. A master switch is located on driver's side. The ignition switch must be in the "ON" position to operate windows. A 30 amp circuit breaker, mounted in the back of the instrument panel at far left side, protects the circuit.
On Alliance and Encore models, a console mounted switch controls motor polarity through a relay. This relay is located in the fuse panel cover. It supplies power to the switch when ignition is "ON".
