NOTE:
Overhaul of 5000 series models steering gear is not recommended. Seals can be replaced if gear is removed. Check system output and pressure before removing steering gear.
NOTE:
On Coupe GT, 4000S and 4000CS Quattro models, check output and system pressure before disassembling steering gear. Use all parts in Repair Kit (811 498 020
). Use new self-locking nuts.
