Ignition Timing

This engine is equipped with coil on plug ignition system. Ignition timing is determined by a timing map stored in the Motronic Engine Control Module (ECM). The ignition timing point can NOT be adjusted. A basic adjustment of the camshaft position sensor is required. See CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR BASIC ADJUSTMENT  .
