Clearing Codes

If using VAG 1551 scan tool, follow manufacturers instructions for clearing codes. If using a generic scan tool, turn ignition off. Disconnect positive battery cable or disconnect PCM connector. Codes are now cleared from memory. When directed to test vehicle, see TEST DRIVE  .
