Locking Cable Functional Test
Switch ignition key to ON position. It must be possible to move gear selector lever out of PARK position without it catching. It must not be possible to remove ignition key with selector lever in any position other than PARK. Place gear selector lever in PARK position. Ignition lock must operate smoothly, without catching. With ignition key in OFF position, it must not be possible to move the gear selector lever out of PARK. It must be possible to remove the ignition key.
