Electrical Component Locator: Switches

SWITCHES LOCATION

Component	Component Location
A/C Refrigerant Low Pressure Switch	At left rear of engine compartment, on A/C line.
A/C Refrigerant High Pressure Switch	Below left headlight, on A/C line.
Brake Fluid Level Warning Switch	On brake fluid reservoir.
Brake Light Switch	Above brake pedal, on bracket.
Center Vent Switch (Left)	Behind upper left center of dash, on vent.
Center Vent Switch (Right)	Behind upper right center of dash, on vent.
Central Locking System Activator/Switch (Left/Right)	On respective front door lock cylinder, inside door.
Closed Throttle Position Switch	Integral with throttle position sensor, on throttle body.
Coolant Fan Control Thermal Switch	At lower right side of radiator. See Figure .
Door Contact Switch (4)	On respective door latch mechanism, inside door.
Engine Coolant Level Warning Switch	At bottom of coolant reservoir.
Hood Alarm Switch	On right rear of engine compartment.
Kick Down Switch	Integral with accelerator cable, near pedal cluster.
Left Seat Belt Switch	Inside left front seat belt buckle.
Multifunction Transmission Range Switch	On left side of transmission.
Oil Pressure Switch	On right side of engine, below exhaust manifold. See Figure .
Parking Brake Warning Light Switch	Below brake lever, in center console.
Trunk Lid Alarm Switch	In trunk lid latch.
Trunk Lock Alarm/Central Locking Switch	On trunk lock cylinder housing.
Windshield Washer Fluid Level Warning Switch	Integral with washer pump motor, on washer fluid reservoir.
