Overview - External Multimedia Device Connection

There are several versions of the External Audio Source Connection -R199- :

AMI - USB charging, AUX IN, UE4
AMI - USB connection (quantity: 2), AUX IN, ASI, UI2/UE7

AMI - Audi Music Interface

ASI - Audi Smartphone Integration

Depending on the vehicle equipment, an additional USB port (USB Connection 1 -U41-) may be installed in the front center console storage compartment for the AMI/ASI, UE7/UI2 equipment.

Suitable adapter cables are needed. Refer to the Owner's Literature.

Fault Finding is performed using the "Guided Fault Finding" on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

The connections -1- are located in the rear center console storage compartment.
