Overview - Navigation System

The navigation system is integrated in the Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794-.

There are the following versions:

• Navigation preparation 7UH
• MMI Navigation, 7UF
• MMI Navigation plus, 7UG

For the navigation preparation "Ready4Nav" (7UH), all components for navigation are installed in the vehicle (Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794- /GPS Antenna -R50-). The navigation data is not provided on the SD card and the software-side activation is in the Information Electronics Control Module 1 -J794-.

For the MMI Navigation (7UF), the navigation data is stored on an SD card.

For the MMI navigation plus (7UG), the navigation data is stored on an internal hard drive disc.

Fault Finding is performed using the "Guided Fault Finding". Refer to Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
