Rear Axle Steering: Notes

When the rear axle suspension is first installed at the "factory", the "check rear axle steering gear orientation" is "not necessary".

When the rear axle suspension is first installed at the "factory", the "check rear axle steering gear orientation" process is also "not possible" with the Locking Tool: T40326  .

The rear axle suspension test with the Locking Tool: T40326  is only possible and necessary if the rear axle suspension was installed by a service dealer.

This applies when a new rear axle suspension is installed "and" when a previously installed rear axle suspension is installed.
