Fuel Shut-Off Valve
After engine is stopped and current feed is shut off at terminal 15, the electric fuel shut-off valve makes sure that power is not supplied to the distributor and high-pressure delivery plunger.
A diaphragm in the fuel injection pump is connected to the intake manifold by a hose. It increases the fuel delivery rate according to the charge pressure in full load operation. See Fig 1.
