Half-Sequential Fuel Injection
Fuel injectors are divided into 2 groups. Group No. 1 consists of injectors for cylinders 1, 3 and 5 and group No. 2 consists of injectors for cylinders 2, 4 and 6. MCU identifies injector group from cylinder identification sensor, connected to No. 6 cylinder plug wire by an inductive pick-up. This allows MCU to activate each injector group once every working cycle (360 degrees).
Duration of injector pulse width is calculated in relation to airflow sensor signal (load), engine speed and other correction factors. More injections are made during acceleration to ensure immediate response and performance. When engine RPM increases after starting, MCU switches to sequential fuel injection. If MCU does not receive signal from cylinder identification sensor, parallel fuel injection (all injectors spray) takes over.
