Attach connections for oscilloscope at component connector using Adaptor (Cartool 611491) and operate engine at idle speed. From the point engine starts, an alternating voltage characteristic curve with positive and negative half wave should appear on display screen. If no signal is applied, DME control unit cuts out fuel injection. See Figure .
