| A/T Range Switch | Under console, at base of shift lever. |
| Back-Up Lamp Switch (A/T) | On right side of transmission. |
| Back-Up Lamp Switch (M/T) | Below center console. |
| Brake Fluid Level Switch | Left side of engine compartment. |
| Brake Lamp Switch | On brake pedal. |
| Clutch Switch | On bracket, above clutch pedal. |
| Engine Coolant Level Switch | On top center of engine, in front of oil fill cap. |
| Engine Hood Switch | On left rear corner of engine compartment. |
| Inertia Switch | Below left side of rear seat. |
| Jet Heater Thermoswitch | Front left side of engine compartment. |
| Kick-Down Switch (530i/t & 540i) | Under accelerator pedal. |
| Oil Pressure Switch (525i/t) | Front of engine. |
| Oil Pressure Switch (530i/t & 540i) | Lower left front of engine. |
| Park Brake Switch | Under console, at base of parking brake lever. |
| Pressure Switch | Front right side of engine compartment. |
| Radio Anti-Theft Switch | Center of dash. |
| Rear Wiper/Washer Fluid Level Switch | Right side of luggage compartment. |
| Temperature Switch | Top right side of radiator. |
