Diode Assembly

  1. Place DVOM on x100 scale. Connect DVOM leads, in turn, between B+ terminal and each stator terminal. See Fig 1. Reverse leads. DVOM should indicate continuity in one direction only.
  2. Connect DVOM leads, in turn, between negative plate and each stator terminal. Reverse leads. DVOM should indicate continuity in one direction only.
  3. Connect DVOM leads, in turn, between D+ terminal and each stator terminal. Reverse leads. DVOM should indicate continuity in one direction only. Replace diode assembly if continuity is not as specified.
