Removing the lambda oxygen sensor

- Perform all work only on components that have cooled down.
NOTE:
RISK OF DAMAGE
Damage to wires when disconnecting connectors and plug connections.
Sheared wires can cause a short circuit.

- Do not pull on wires when disconnecting connectors and plug connections.
NOTE:
The cable of the Lambda oxygen sensor is black. The installation location of the Lambda oxygen sensor is in front of the catalytic converter.
- Detach the cable (1) from the clamp (2).
- Unlock and disconnect connector (1).
- Unlock the connector (1) with the screwdriver (2) and detach it off from the carrier plate.
- Release the Lambda oxygen sensor (1) with the special tools 0 493 751 (11 9 150) and 0 491 075 (11 7 030) .
- Remove the Lambda oxygen sensor (1).
