Electrical Component Locator: Switches

SWITCHES LOCATION

Component		Location
A/C System
High Pressure Switch		On A/C line, at left front corner of engine compartment.
Low Pressure Switch		On A/C line, at right of blower motor.
Brake/Cruise/Stoplight/Torque Converter Switch		On brake pedal support.
Convertible Top Ajar Switch		Below convertible top cover, near right sheerwall.
Cooling Fan Temp. Switch		On top right side of engine, near alternator.
Door Ajar Switch		In respective doors, at end of door lock module assembly.
Low Brake Fluid Switch		In brake fluid reservoir.
Oil Level Switch		On lower left front of engine, near starter solenoid.
PRNDL Switch
Reatta & Riviera		At left rear of engine compartment, on top of transaxle. See Figure .
Toronado & Trofeo		At left rear of engine compartment, on top of transaxle. See Figure .
Parking Brake Switch		On parking brake assembly.
Power Steering Pressure Switch		On power steering box, at rear of engine.
Rear Defogger Cut-Off Switch		On right front of trunk, above micro relay center.
Seat Belt Switch		Part of driver's seat belt assembly.
Transaxle Position Switch		On left rear of engine, top of transaxle.
Washer Fluid Level Switch		In windshield washer reservoir.
